Watford is one of the best places to launch a business in the UK, according to new research from financial technology company, Tide.
The town was voted the third most attractive town or city to launch a business outside of London, ranking behind Bournemouth and Stevenage.
The data found that Watford had a 38 per cent increase in startups, 45 per cent survival rate and 0.50 per cent businesses per people.
There is various support in place in Watford for residents wanting to start their own business, including specialist business support programmes such as the Hertfordshire Start-Up Programme, Hertfordshire Growth Hub, Innovate 2 Succeed, ProConnect Hertfordshire and more.
The Hertfordshire Start-up Programme gives residents of Hertfordshire access to 12 hours of free business start-up support.
