A Stanmore community hub organised a showcase at Northwood School last month which saw dozens of small businesses come together to display their products and services.
The KSIMC of London, known colloquially as Hujjat Stanmore, hosted the showcase on November 12.
Hujjat Stanmore, a community hub that offers social, welfare and educational services, organised the showcase to support small businesses and allow them to network following the difficulties of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Mayor of Harrow councillor Janet Mote was invited as a guest speaker along with councillor Abbas Merali, Dr Mahmood Mawjee, Sonya Moledina and Suhail Nurmohamed.
Sukaina Nurmohamed, executive committee member for the KSIMC of London, said: “More than 40 businesses took part, from lettings agents to web designers and fitness supplement companies.
“It was great to see the talent, creativity and abilities in our community all under one roof. We are truly blessed to have such a vibrant community.”
Hujjat Stanmore is hoping to hold a similar event in March 2023.
