New statistics have revealed the number of XL Bully breed dogs which are currently registered in Kings Langley.
Information from the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs, following a Freedom of Information request by The Spectator, has shown the whereabouts of the breed by postcode in England and Wales.
In the WD4 postcode, which covers Kings Langley, Chipperfield, Hunton Bridge, Rucklers Lane and Bucks Hill, 19 applications to register a dog of the breed have been approved. This gives the postcode a rank of 1,057th in the list of areas with the highest number of registered XL Bullys.
XL Bullys were added to the list of banned dogs in the country at the beginning of February this year. This came in the wake of a procession of news stories regarding people who have been attacked and/or killed by the breed in recent times.
In order for people to keep their XL Bully, they must register the dog and apply for a Certificate of Exemption.
