A 15-year-old boy has been charged with terrorism offences, following an arrest made by the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command.
The boy was charged on Sunday, March 13, with two offences under Section 2 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 14 March.
The boy was arrested and detained under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000 on Monday, 7 March after officers attended an address in St Albans, Hertfordshire.
A warrant of further detention was later obtained at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, allowing them to detain the boy until Monday, March 14.
