Watford FC legend Luther Blissett OBE DL was rushed to hospital following a medical incident at the 7th MY LOCAL HERO event on Saturday, November 16.
After hosting an auction segment, Luther left the main room and collapsed. He was rushed to hospital shortly after.
Earlier this week, his partner Lauren Fox confirmed that he had been moved to a specialist hospital, where he is undergoing treatment and tests.
The football legend has supported the event at The Grove Hotel in Watford for many years, regularly hosting the event’s auction with charisma and charm. This year was no different, and just moments before leaving the room, Luther had helped auction off a signed Watford FC shirt and four hospitality tickets to a Watford FC match.
The MYLOCALNEWS team wishes Luther a speedy recovery.
