Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a robbery in St Albans.
The incident occurred shortly before 7pm on Tuesday December 10, when an 18-year-old male was walking down Milford Close.
He was approached by another male, hit with a metal pole and had his bag stolen.
The victim was chased on to Sandringham Crescent where he was treated by an off-duty paramedic having suffered serious facial injuries and a suspected broken arm.
It is believed those involved know each other.
