Traffic has begun to ease on the M25 near Rickmansworth after a collision involving several vehicles earlier today (Saturday, January 3).
The incident led to lane closures on the clockwise carriageway between junctions 16 and 17, causing significant disruption for motorists.
At its worst, drivers were facing delays of around half an hour.
All lanes have now reopened, although queues are still clearing and some congestion remains in the area.
