Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an aggravated burglary in Garston.
The incident occurred between 9.20pm and 9.30pm yesterday (Sunday, August 20) in Bucknalls Close.
It is reported that two men forced entry to an address by damaging the front door to the property.
The occupant of the property challenged the offenders, who then left the scene.
Detective Inspector Chris Parperi said: “We are currently in the early stages of our investigation.
“I am encouraging anyone who lives in the area to check CCTV cameras, as they may contain vital evidence to support with our ongoing enquiries.
“Additionally, if anyone was in the area at around this time spotted anything suspicious, please also report this to police.”
