The St Albans Gang Show, featuring local Scouts and Guides, will return to The Alban Arena for another fantastic performance this month.
From February 14 to 17, 96 talented stars aged 11 to 18 will perform in a variety show extravaganza of 30 musical numbers.
Speaking to STALBANSnews, Gang Show producer Hermione Drew said: “Behind the scenes, there are 150 volunteers, including nurses, lecturers from the University of Hertfordshire, and even a keyboard programmer from the West End.”
The volunteers design and create every costume and set, and also help with the admin.
The performance will feature many much-loved musical numbers based on a theme, interspersed with short comedy sketches, and additional small dance and singing numbers. Each year has a different theme, which is kept a secret until the night.
Hermione added: “Our focus is on the young people and giving them the opportunities to learn new life skills. We hope to spark some inspiration!”
