Audiences are invited to step into a world of gang rivalries, bootleg liquor, and a good old-fashioned murder mystery.
Kings Langley Players are set to dazzle audiences with their new play, Death at the Distillery, at Kings Langley Services Club on Friday, October 17.
This will mark director Sally-Anne Rafferty’s sixth production at the helm, though she has been a staple of the group for over 30 years.
Inspired by the Peaky Blinders era, the play follows Birmingham’s notorious Stallard family and their deadly dispute with a rival London gang.
Here’s the twist: the audience doesn’t just watch, but gets to be immersed in the Stallard family’s world and guess whodunnit.
Sarah-Anne shared with KINGSnews: “The Players are like a family. It’s such a welcoming group.
“We want the audience to feel like they are really involved so we hope they will come dressed up.
“I can’t wait to see the club come alive with the sounds and costumes evocative of the era. I hope the audience have as much fun as we have so far!”
