Dust off your library card and step into a world of stories. Bushey Library is inviting the community to join Hertfordshire Libraries’ centenary year with a special membership campaign, running until March 2026.
Mary Malone, the library’s manager, told BUSHEYnews: “We’d love to welcome even more people into our library community and showcase the incredible resources and services we offer. Many people don’t realise just how much a modern library provides-far beyond books!”
Membership offers access to thousands of e-books, magazines, and newspapers completely free through Hertfordshire Libraries’ wide range of e-services.
Mary added: “It’s a fantastic way to make reading and learning more accessible for everyone —particularly with the cost of living as it is. Libraries are for everyone, and we want to make sure no one misses out on the opportunities available.”
The library team encourages residents to visit and explore the facilities, including welcoming spaces for study, community events, and digital learning.
Mary added: “Thank you for making our centenary year unforgettable.”
