An “unwavering commitment to empowering young girls” is the mission of Kings Langley FC (KLFC), who have announced the addition of two more teams.
Last year, KLFC launched four new girls’ teams, and this year their ambitions are even greater.
The club are focusing on building the Under 7 and Under 8 groups by creating a welcoming, fun and supportive environment where future Mary Earps can develop their skills, grow in confidence, and form lifelong friendships.
Karl Thomas, girls lead at KLFC and director of Healthy U Girls Football, told KINGSnews: “Our partnership with Healthy U Girls Football – an organisation devoted to girls-only football – has enabled us to expand our reach and impact.
“Too often, football is overlooked as a sport for girls, but once they step onto the pitch, they quickly fall in love with the game and the community we’ve created.”
KLFC are looking for girls aged five to 15 to join the club. To register your interest, call 01442 769071 or email football-healthyu@outlook.com
