Abbots Langley Festival is back, with a huge number of events for the community to enjoy.
Abbots Langley Festival happens every two years and is an opportunity for all the local volunteer groups, societies and clubs to showcase what they do and recruit new members whilst entertaining the residents of the parish.
A large number of people will be involved as participants and organisers over the month-long festival. The festival involves not just Abbots Langley, but the whole parish including Bedmond, Langleybury, Leavesden and the surrounding area.
Events include HMS Pinafore, Knit and natter, St Lawrence Church Fete, a reading group, a craft fair, a Michael Jackson tribute act and an open garden event.
Many events are free of charge, so it is a fantastic opportunity for people to get involved with something new.
The Information Gazebo will be on the Millennium garden in the middle of the Abbots Langley on Fridays and Saturdays from May 31 until June 29, from 10 am – 2pm. Members of some participating groups will be on hand to talk about their events, and members of the Festival organising team will be available to sell or reserve tickets for several of the events and answer any questions about the festival.
There are around 30 different groups participating providing over 60 opportunities – there is something for everyone to enjoy. The Events’ Guide gives all the information needed to engage with the events.
