FIT Club Northwood welcomed David Simmonds CBE MP For Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner (pictured left) and councillor Duncan Flynn (right) to help reopen its doors to existing and new members for the first time after lockdown.
To officially commemorate the reopening and provide reassurance that gyms continue to operate as a safe space, local MP David Simmonds CBE visited the gym, located directly next to Northwood Hills Station, last week.
This coincided in the same week as national fitness day, to which FIT Club proudly upholds the value to raise awareness of the importance of being active and to facilitate people to lead healthier and active lifestyles.
Mr Simmonds CBE MP stated: “I was delighted to visit Fit Club in Northwood Hills this week. It is wonderful to see a strong local business bringing fitness opportunity to residents, especially after the difficult period of lockdown.”
Since reopening after lockdown, FIT Club, which is still open 24/7, has seen a profound and positive response from existing and new members in relation to measures put in place to fight COVID-19.
Puneet Walia, FIT Club’s founding director, said: “As an independent business owner, the support of our members has been crucial to us through this period and we would like to thank them for their continued support.”
