Residents of Chalfont St Peter have expressed their concerns on social media over an alleged stabbing in the village.
Worried locals took to Facebook after police were called to the village at the end of last month with many people saying they had spotted uniformed officers and forensic officers in the village on a Saturday evening.
It’s understood that police carried out extensive enquiries and that forensic officers spent much of the following day at the scene.
Thames Valley Police informed CHALFONTSnews of having received a report of an affray which took place in Churchfield Road, in Chalfont St Peter at around 7.50 pm on Saturday June 27.
Officers attended the scene where a woman aged in her twenties had sustained a cut injury.
A 23-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man, both from London, have been arrested in connection with this incident.
The 23-year-old woman was released under investigation and the man was bailed until July 26.
