The resident theatre company at The Old Town Hall in Hemel Hempstead is thrilled to announce the world premiere of Austen’s Women: Lady Susan.
The award-winning Dyad Productions returns with a new show created in collaboration with The Old Town Hall. Austen’s Women: Lady Susan is based on the devil-may-care Lady Susan as she hunts down two fortunes, a rebellious daughter, a suffering sister-in-law, a family matriarch and her best friend.
Based on Jane Austen’s first full-length work from 1794, and created entirely from letters, the piece is performed by Rebecca Vaughan and directed by Andrew Margerison. It will take place from February 22 to 25.
Dyad Productions told Hemel News: “Having The Old Town Hall as our theatrical home is an incredibly exciting venture for us at Dyad Productions.
“The venue has always been a key location on our tours and to be able to creatively collaborate on our upcoming shows with their wonderful team has been a real joy.
“We can’t wait to get started and get our teeth back into Austen again!”
