A man from Rickmansworth has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
Police were called to an incident on Friday, April 7 in Croxley Green, and later put out an appeal to the public for a young man from Rickmansworth, Ryan Palmer, for fear of his safety.
Herts Police announced the following day they had connected with Palmer, 26, tweeting: “We are pleased to say that we’ve made initial contact with Ryan, who was reported missing. Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal.”
On April 10, however, a further appeal for information on Palmer’s whereabouts was made.
A Herts Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at around 9am on April 7 to reports of an assault in Croxley Green.
“Ryan Palmer was later arrested and subsequently charged with wound/inflict grievous bodily harm without intent, theft from a person and intentional strangulation.”
Palmer is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on Monday, May 15.
