A planning application for a gypsy site on green belt land in Bovingdon has been resubmitted. The scheme, for land next to the Bobsleigh Hotel, was withdrawn due to ownership issues and questions over the site’s boundaries but My News Magazines now understands the application has been resubmitted. The controversial scheme has caused concern in the village and the Bovingdon Action Group, set up to protect green belt in and around the village, is urging people to object to the new application. To view the application, go to www.dacorum.gov.uk and enter the planning reference number 4/02324/13/FUL.
