Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a theft from a motor vehicle in Watford. The incident happened in Louvain Way between 2pm on Saturday, May 30 and 11am the following day. Between these times, offender(s) have approached a blue Mercedes, which was parked on a driveway, and stolen cash and a wallet containing driving licenses from the centre console. The wallet was later found in the car park behind the shops in The Brow, with the cash missing. Police are asking anyone who was in the area and witnessed any suspicious activity around the times stated to get in touch. Anyone with information is asked to contact police via the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference C4/15/1169. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
