An annual carnival aiming to bring people together and promote unity in diversity has been deemed a great success.
Watford Carnival, which took place at Radlett Road Playing Fields on Saturday, August 2, featured music, entertainment, and family-friendly activities.
The event brought together people from different races and ethnicities to enjoy themselves and bring positive vibes to the community.
Organisers Mojo Fusion Ltd thanked Elected Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor for his support, as well as councillor Dawn Allen-Williamson “who from day one has been immensely supportive of our goals”.
They also thanked councillors Nigel Bell, Favour Ezeifedi and Asma Suleman who donated £300 towards this year’s event.
Jomo Oparah, CEO of Mojo Fusion, added: “An amazing thank you goes to my Mojo Fusion CIC team headed by Nova Hanson-Wilks, my general manager, who worked tirelessly to support me in making Watford Carnival 2025 successful.
“Strategies and plans are already in motion to make Watford Carnival 2026 one of the best summer events for 2026 with an international headliner.”
