Aldenham celebrated community running event parkrun’s 20th anniversary at Aldenham Country Park, with large groups of people heading out to run on Saturday, October 5.
The team had pacers who ran at seven different paces for all the runners to stick to, ranging in times from 20 minutes to 40 minutes to cover the 5km jog.
People also joined in by walking along the journey.
The group meets every Saturday at 9am, and is described as “a free, fun and inclusive” team.
The trail course starts in the car park, and involves two clockwise laps of Aldenham Reservoir, heading past the dam, and then looping all the way back through the woods, in quite a scenic route.
Parkrun was set up by Paul Sinton-Hewitt, when he organised the Bushy Park Time Trial, which later evolved into parkrun.
Since it was created, more than 2,200 parkruns have been set up in 23 countries around the world.
