A new arts festival organised by a Chorleywood church is set to take place in June.
From Thursday, June 13, to Saturday, June 15, the Trees & Angels Festival will feature paintings, sculptures, poems and musical performances.
The event is organised by St Andrew’s Church on Quickley Lane, in collaboration with award-winning cellist Gerard Le Feuvre and Christian musicians the Kings Chamber Orchestra (KCO).
The inspiration for the theme comes from the countryside environment of Chorleywood, and a special video concerning angels produced by KCO to support their project in Ukraine.
There will also be three concerts at the church: a piano duet of Holst’s The Planets, a collaboration of KCO’s folk musicians and Chorleywood Community Choir in support of Ukraine, and a gala KCO concert.
