A woman from Bushey has produced her first short film diving into the story of the life of a lost and lonely postman.
Jessica Johnson, 25, who grew up in Bushey, recently completed the film titled Mail Man, which tells the story of postman Tom who coasts through his mundane life until his world is changed from meeting a female addressee.
Speaking to BusheyNews, Jessica said she first wrote the film whilst she was travelling in Thailand and follows how kindness can be the most powerful tool of all.
She said: “I feel this story is relatable on many platforms to many people in different walks of life, and I would love to share my story with the people, particularly in my hometown.
“There were 29 hours of filming which took around six months to edit. I am super proud of it; trying to make a self-funded movie was testing but I think it’s an amazing film and the actors were incredible.”
