A film crew took over popular coffee shop Fred & Ginger in Kings Langley High Street this morning (March 22).
The crew transformed the coffee shop into a set, prompting residents to wonder what is being filmed.
In a letter to residents, SP Film Productions informed the community that they would be filming from 8am-1pm for the upcoming movie Spiral.
However, speaking to KingsNews, an anonymous source said the filming was for upcoming Marvel superhero movie Kraven the Hunter, although this has not been confirmed.
The Saracens Head was also reportedly used as a green room.
Kraven the Hunter, starring Russell Crowe and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, is due to be released this October.
The production company thanked residents for their co-operation and said they would be making a charitable donation.
The letter read: “We appreciate that this has had to be organised at short notice and we’re extremely grateful to Kings Langley for all the help and understanding! We will also be making a donation to the Community Food Bank at All Saints Church as a thank you to the village.”
SP Film Productions Ltd has been approached for comment.
