A Croxley school is hoping to help its pupils stay fit for life after relaunching the Daily Mile.
Children at Little Green Junior School are encouraged to run or jog every day as part of the initiative, which has been adopted as part of a wider curriculum review.
The school shared: “We believe being able to run for 10 minutes is definitely one important life skill.”
On Wednesday, March 19, the school started the first run and shared: “Lovely to see Year 6 encouraging their buddies on the course.
“Loved all the encouragement and supportive high fives they were giving each other, and us, as we joined them running.”
Chris Lloyd, chair of governors at Little Green Junior School, said: “It was amazing to welcome High Sheriff Annie Brewster and the Daily Mile team to relaunch the Daily Mile.
“I am also happy to work with Daily Mile nationally and locally to encourage other schools in Three Rivers to re-engage with the Daily Mile.”
