Changes to parking rules in three areas of Three Rivers, including Chorleywood, will soon come into effect following public consultation.
This includes Ferry Car Park, where the changes came into effect from Monday, November 3. Previously, the car park was free for up to four hours. Following requests due to the displacement of parking in Chorleywood, thought to be caused by the new charges at the station, the car park will be changing to allow all-day parking for £4, whilst retaining short stay bays with two hours free. The existing business permit scheme remains.
The introduction of changes and charges to The Ferry Car Park is designed to provide a more flexible use of the parking for residents, businesses and visitors whilst maintaining the turnover of spaces throughout the day.
Changes have also come into force at High Elms Lane in Garston and Primrose Hill in Kings Langley.
