A Gerrards Cross-based charity dedicated to helping the elderly has opened a new information point in Chalfont St Peter.
Age Concern GX Plus’ new site opened on Market Place in the heart of the village on Monday, July 31.
The centre will be open from 9am to 2pm Monday to Friday for anybody looking for advice on helping elderly residents and fundraising activities.
Speaking on the day of the opening, a spokesperson for Buckinghamshire Council’s Denham, Gerrards Cross and The Chalfonts Community Board said: “Congratulations to the trustees and volunteers behind Age Concern GX Plus on the opening of their Information Centre today.
“It was a pleasure to see Chris again and meet Malcolm and Beth, who, along with Anita, will be at the centre.
“Such a great facility to have a friendly face to talk about matters relating to the older community.”
