ACED IT: Radlett resident’s tennis and auction event raises a grand

A Radlett artist’s auction and tennis event helped raise a grand for important charities.

Helen Lack’s (pictured) recent event, which she organised with Kp Shah, was held at David Lloyd in Bushey and involved a charity tennis tournament, art auction, merchandise sales and a raffle.

The money raised from the event was donated to the British Heart Foundation (BHF) and Share Tanzania.

The BHF researches cures and treatments for heart and circulatory diseases, while Share Tanzania aims to alleviate poverty, and improve the lives of vulnerable children living in the rural areas of Tanzania.

Helen said: “This charity event was such a huge success mainly because everyone was involved, either by participating in the tennis tournament or buying art in the auction, in aid of great causes. It was an incredible achievement and it would be wonderful to plan another charity event in the future.”
