A GP tracker created by The Telegraph has revealed that Rickmansworth GP surgeries are above average in most categories.
According to the tracker, 38 per cent of patients at Gade Surgery found it easy to reach the GP by phone. This is compared to 71 per cent of The Colne Practice patients and 51 per cent of New Road Surgery patients. The local average is 44 per cent.
Around 63 per cent of Gade Surgery patients had “high levels of confidence and trust in their healthcare professional”, the same as the local average. This is compared to Colne Practice at 72 per cent and New Road Surgery at 79 per cent.
The survey also found that 59 per cent of Gade Surgery patients had a positive experience during their last appointment, compared to 85 per cent at The Colne Practice and 86 per cent at New Road Surgery. The local average is 72 per cent.
The survey showed that 67 per cent of Gade Surgery patients had GP appointments within a week of trying, compared to The Colne Practice with 79 per cent and New Road Surgery with 88 per cent. The national average is 79 per cent.
