A Ruislip art group will be celebrating its 35th birthday next month with an exhibition at the Cow Byre Gallery in Bury Street.
The Octavia Art Group includes artists working in various media, a wildlife photographer, a potter and a jeweller working in rainbow-hued dichroic glass and semi-precious stones.
Carol Rogers from the group said although membership may have changed over the years whenever the group holds an exhibition, the fresh and exciting work on display shows a constant dynamic.
She added: “Our guest artist this year is Kay Horsefield, painter and printmaker. Kay loves colour, pattern and design. She is particularly interested in landscapes and natural forms and produces work which is expressive and lively.”
The exhibition is held from May 6 until May 12, Opening hours are from 10-5pm daily and from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday.
Demonstrations will take place on May 8, May 10 and May 12.
