Published on: 20th January 2023   |   By: Megan Milstead   |   Category: Uncategorized

Select bus routes in Amersham will be capped at £2 for a single fare.

From January 1 to March 31, passengers can enjoy discounted journeys as part of the government’s Help for Households scheme.

The scheme is being run across 130 operators in the UK, including the Carousel services in Amersham.

The High Wycombe to Hemel Hempstead bus will be included in the reduction, which stops at The Broadway, Stanley Hill Schools and

Amersham Railway Station. It operates under routes 1, 1A and 1B.

Luke Marion, Carousel Buses’ interim managing director, said: “Bus travel remains fantastic value for money and this generous initiative makes it even more attractive.

“We know it is a challenging time for many and this three-month offer will help people at a crucial time. We hope it encourages many people to give our bus services a try and I’d encourage people to visit our website at www.carouselbuses.co.uk for the full details.”
