Bushey House Beaumont Care Home held socially distanced celebrations last week to mark two members of staff working at the home for 15 years.
On Wednesday, February 10, staff and residents marked the milestone with afternoon tea and cake for care home hostess Monika and admin assistant Kamila’s 15-year work anniversary.
Bushey House also recognised the hard work of staff over the lockdown period, by presenting all workers with a healthcare worker survival bag including lotions, hand sanitizers, personalised chocolates, tea and coffee.
Lynn Harvey, Home Administrator at Bushey House said: “We are very lucky we have a very dedicated team here. As soon as lockdown came into effect the dedicated staff ensured online Skype calls continued, we know residents are missing the socialisation aspect so we have a lot of family orientated activities at the moment.”
During the lockdown, Bushey House organised an activity where residents could decorate a personalised cuddle pillow, which was passed onto family members outside the home.
Some families also decorated a cuddle pillows to pass on to residents to help them feel less lonely over the difficult lockdown period.
