Rickmansworth will see road improvements take place later this year after a meeting took place between Hertfordshire County Council councillors on March 23.
The works plan for 2015/16 will see £39.8m being spent on improving Hertfordshire’s 3,000 miles of roads for the benefit of all road users. Roads such as Church Street, Riverside Drive, Rectory Road, Mead Place and Coombe Hill Road will be resurfaced as part of the plans. The planned future work includes a variety of planned maintenance works to roads, bridges and pavements and improvement works like tackling safety problems, reducing traffic congestion or assisting pedestrians.
