Fire fighters tackled a lorry fire this morning (July 5) on the A41 near Berkhamstead.
The lorry, which contained barrels of cider, was engulfed in flames in a layby as fire crews turned up.
The A41 was closed whilst crews tackled the blaze.
Hertfordshire Fire Service were called at 7.18am to reports of smoke coming from a lorry.
At around 8am the fire was extinguished, and the road was opened shortly after 8.25am.
Two engines from Hemel Hempstead, one from Tring and one from Berkhamsted attended.
