Police in Rickmansworth are continuing to investigate after a 12-year-old boy was attacked in the town last week.
At around 3.35pm on Thursday, August 22, it was reported that the boy was involved in an altercation with two females in the Shepherds Lane area of Mill End.
After the altercation, a van then pulled up and a man allegedly got out and physically assaulted the boy, who sustained lumps and cuts to his head. The van was then driven off.
A police spokesperson said: “Enquiries are continuing at this time to establish the circumstances around what happened and to trace further people involved. A review of CCTV is also being carried out.
“If you have any information, please contact police on 101 quoting reference 41/70091/24.”
