Your chance to have an input on refurb of village skate park

Published on: 24th May 2018   |   By: Tim Green   |   Category: Uncategorized

Designers behind the refurbishment of Croxley Skate Park want to hear what villagers think about possible designs for the new facility.

The current skate park at Baldwins Lane is tired and outdated and Three Rivers District Council are looking at improving the flow and surface for all those who use it.

Construction of the park is currently out to tender with companies being invited to submit their designs to the council. These designs will then form the public consultation where residents will be able to submit their feedback.

A TRDC spokesman said: “We would really like the community to become involved in this consultation and your feedback will form an important part of the final design.”

A consultation event will take place on Saturday June 23 from 1pm to 3pm. You will be able to drop in and give your views to the staff.

Visit www.threeriversleisure.co.uk/skate-parks to find out more details about the new skate park and the consultation event.   If you can’t make the date, visit the website to find out how to submit comments to us online.
