A musical concert will take place this Saturday (November 8) to commemorate the outbreak of World War One at Croxley Church. The Chiltern Hills Brass Band will be performing a collection of WW1 songs from 2pm at All Saint’s Church. In the evening of the same day in the Church Hall, there will be a folk music concert at 7.30pm. The evening will include a diverse range of music, all with a theme of World War One. Remembrance Sunday takes place on Sunday, November 9 this year. The Parade will be leaving Yorke Road at 2pm and the Church Service at All Saints Church commences at 2.30pm. Following the Church Service wreaths will be laid at the War Memorial on The Green at approximately 3.25pm. Admission to all events is free; there will be collection buckets for charitable donations.
