Police are appealing for witnesses and information as part of ongoing enquiries into an alleged assault in Rickmansworth.
The incident occurred in Old Chorleywood Road, between 7.35am and 7.50am on Wednesday, October 26.
It was reported that a woman was assaulted before getting into a vehicle which made off from the area at speed.
The vehicle was located by officers in Scots Hill and two people were subsequently arrested.
A 25 year old man from Harrow and a 28 year old man from Edgware were arrested on suspicion of ABH and drink driving. They have been bailed while enquiries continue.
Support is being provided to the victim.
PC Abi Wilkins, who is investigating, said: “Although two arrests have been made, we are still appealing for witnesses to come forward. We believe that a number of people may have seen the incident and we’re keen to hear from anyone who hasn’t already spoken to police. If you did see something, please get in touch.”
