WITNESS APPEAL: Police seek further information after assault in St Albans

Police are appealing for witnesses and information about a common assault that occurred in St Albans.

It is reported that between 2.30pm and 2.40pm on Monday, December 15, a man was pushed following attempts to stop a teenage boy from shoplifting at the Iceland Foods store on Victoria Street.

Enquiries are being carried out, including a review of any CCTV opportunities, and officers are encouraging anyone with information about the incident or suspect to please come forward.
