Officers from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit (BCHRPU) are appealing for information from the public following a serious collision in Shenley.
The incident occurred at around 6.50am on Friday, July 25, and involved a pedal cycle and a white Nissan panel van on Bell Lane, just outside Watford Football Club’s training ground exit.
Police attended the collision along with colleagues from the East of England Ambulance Service.
A man in his 30s from Enfield was taken to hospital, and his injuries are described as serious.
Sergeant Tim Davies, from BCHRPU, said: “As part of our investigations into what happened, I am appealing to anyone who either witnessed the collision or was driving in the area at the time of the incident to please contact us.
“If you have any information or dashcam footage, please get in touch as this could assist with our investigation.”
