Officers are appealing for information following an assault that occurred in Radlett.
The incident happened between 12.45pm and 1.15pm on Wednesday, March 18, within the Phillimore Recreation Ground on Gills Hollow.
It is reported that the victim, a 64-year-old man, was sitting down on a bench in the park when another man punched him in the face.
The suspect is described as being around 25 years old, around 5ft 6ins tall, with short, dark hair and facial hair. He was also accompanied by a woman of a similar age.
“I want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or may recognise the description of the suspect, to please get in touch,” said PC Darren Arbuthnott, who is investigating.
