WITNESS APPEAL: Man stabbed after altercation in Watford as police appeal for information

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed during an altercation in Watford last week.

Officers were called to Ascot Road at around 6pm on Thursday, April 30, following reports of an assault. The victim, a man in his 50s, is believed to have been involved in a row during which he sustained a single stab wound.

He attended hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.

A police spokesperson said enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident, including how the altercation unfolded and whether anyone else was involved.

No arrests have been made at this time, and the suspect remains unidentified. Police have also not yet confirmed the type of weapon used.

Officers are urging anyone who may have information to come forward. This includes witnesses or anyone who may have been in the area at the time.
