WITNESS APPEAL: Man punched and scooter stolen in Hemel Hempstead

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a reported robbery in Hemel Hempstead.

The incident occurred on Queensway at around 10.30pm on Monday, June 3.

It is reported that a man aged in his thirties was riding home on an electric scooter before being approached by two males who were on a moped.

The victim then reportedly was punched in the face and threatened before the two men stole the electric scooter.

One of the suspects was described as wearing a cream or grey tracksuit and a black mask over his face.

Detective Constable Michael Knight, from the Dacorum Local Crime Unit, said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of this incident.

“The victim continues to be supported by officers following this distressing incident.
