Will you be at the UK’s Strongest Kid competition?

Published on: 4th April 2019   |   By: News Bulletin   |   Category: Uncategorized

The UK’s Strongest Kid competition will be taking place on Easter Monday (April 22) and all St Albans young people with big muscles are being invited to take part.

Following on from The UK’s Strongest Man competition which was held in Verulamium Park last summer, the organisers are hosting a strongest kid competition which will be held outside the Marks & Spencer from 12 noon to 3pm.

The boys and girls that take part will demonstrate their strength in a number of iconic ways which will mirror the adult competition.

Age groups for boys and girls will be four to six years, seven to nine years, 10 to 12 years and 13 to 15 years.

This follows the news that the famous UK’s Strongest Man competition will be back in St Albans across the last weekend in July (26 to 28).

The family friendly festival/competition, which is shown on Channel 5 at the end of the year, welcomed 10,000 people last year who enjoyed the competition, live music, free kids entertainment, food and drink and much more.

This year the competition will be held at Abbey View Athletics Track, St Albans.
