Abbots Langley Community Centre (ALCC) has been in the village for more than 50 years, and as a financially self-supporting, not-for-profit facility and registered charity, the recent financial climate has posed many challenges.
Thanks to recent donations from Warner Bros., however, the centre has been rejuvenated with a fresh lick of paint and “fantastic” new external noticeboards.
Helen Ball of ALCC said: “Our secretary, Marian Marsh, has been doing a sterling job approaching local businesses for help. Warner Bros., a large part of the community, were more than happy to support the centre.”
With the new noticeboards in place, residents can now see what’s on at ALCC, which is a venue for local clubs, groups and private hire and offers a diverse range of classes for all.
Helen said: “The centre is kept going by the continuous hard work of the volunteers and supporters like Warner Bros. If you would like to get involved, we are always looking for new members.
