Plans to convert a block of offices in Rickmansworth town centre into eight flats have been given the green light.
The new dwellings will be created at Odeon Parade on the High Street, after Three Rivers District Council approved plans to change the use of the building on August 1.
The plans were originally submitted in 2021 and again in 2022 following consultation and changes. The latest plans show the eight flats would be one-bedroom properties with no parking facilities, with rent priced between £625 and £815 per month depending on size.
This is not the first time plans have been approved for the former offices. In October 2020, plans were given the go-ahead to create six homes in the same office space, which did not come to fruition.
Work is yet to begin on the site, opposite the library in the town centre.
