Dean Russell, MP for Watford, stood up in the House of Commons this morning (Thursday, March 24) and congratulated My Local News for reaching their 2,000th edition.
Mr Russell MP addressed Mark Spencer MP, Leader of the House of Commons and Lord President of the Council, during Business Questions in the House.
He said: “Would my Right Honourable friend join me in congratulating Nik Allen and his team at My Local News, as they celebrate their 2,000th edition of the magazine.
“The magazine, which reaches households across most of my Watford constituency, including Abbots Langley and Garston, provides important local news, community information and promotes local businesses.”
Mark Spencer MP responded: “I would join you in congratulating the team at My Local News – local magazines and newspapers play an important role in our communities.”
