Three people were jailed on Friday, October 21, having been found guilty of perverting the course of justice in relation to the murder of Luke O’Connell in Watford in 2019.
Luke, who was 26, died in hospital following an incident on Gammons Lane, Watford, which occurred just before 3am on Saturday 31 August 2019.
Following a two-week trial at Reading Crown Court, the men were found guilty and sentenced.
Talha Chohan, aged 27, of Beech Road, Watford, was sentenced to 28 months.
Omar Chohan, aged 28, of The Harebreaks, Watford, was sentenced to 32 months.
Wasim Saddique, aged 34, of St George’s Road, Watford, was sentenced to 32 months.
In September 2021, three other men were found guilty of murder, a further three men found guilty of manslaughter and one man guilty of perverting the course of justice. All were jailed in connection to Luke’s death.
In May 2022, a woman was also handed a prison sentence having previously been found guilty of perverting the course of justice.
