Kings Langley and the surrounding area could soon be witnessing scores of cyclists as they pass through as part of an annual 40-mile bike challenge in May.
Organised by Northwood’s Michael Sobell Hospice, the sponsored On Your Bike event will take place on Sunday, May 20.
Setting off from outside the hospice, the cycling adventure will take riders through Bovingdon, Chipperfield, Denham, The Chalfonts and Chesham with a water stop at the Boot Tavern in Chipperfield.
An early bird offer of £25 is available until Friday, April 20, for adults and £10 for children aged 11-16 (must be accompanied by an adult on the day).
Fundraising spokesman Ophelia Chambers-Henry said: “Last year’s event helped to raise more than £19,000 towards the amazing care and support provided at Michael Sobell Hospice for our patients and their families.”
