Arnett Hills JMI School received a glowing Ofsted report following a recent inspection.
Ofsted visited the school just before the end of last term. The resulting report praised the empathetic and respectful pupils, the high expectations for achievements, and the highly effective support for pupils with special educational needs or disabilities.
Headteacher Holly Butcher said: “The report is testimony to the dedicated staff team, the wonderful pupils and our whole school community. We have worked hard and are very pleased that this hard work was recognised by Ofsted, and the report warmly encapsulates everything that makes Arnett Hills a very special school. We are all so very proud to be a part of it.”
Mrs Butcher, who is completing her fourth year of headship at the school, says this year has seen a lot of their hard work come to fruition.
She added: “We have also just received excellent SATs results, with 94 per cent of children reaching the expected standard in reading – a skill that we hold at the core of all we do.”
